Jessica Sircar is an artist and writer.

She has been producing creative work since she was younger and received distinctions for it. She studied Art, History, and English at Bridgewater State College obtaining a Bachelors with a Triple Major. During the time she was at Bridgewater she produced works in photography, printmaking, and weaving for studio arts. While an undergraduate student she had photographs included in several college art exhibitions, including one on black and white film photography and one on Japan. After graduation she continued to a Masters of English, also at Bridgewater State (now a University). During that time she continued doing studio arts in printmaking, producing several works that were included in additional college exhibitions. One of her prints was selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of The Bridge; a collection of student works published by Bridgewater State University.

Jessica has always been a strong wordsmith. Writing has been a passion of hers since she was young. In elementary school she wrote several poems, of which one was submitted to and published in a national collection of poetry by elementary school students. Her active imagination and love of fantasy has always provided a base for her works. After entering college she also found a passion for historical fiction. Often Jessica writes poetry surrounding everyday emotions and experiences. She also has a growing collection of stories in fantasy and historical fiction.

Jessica currently lives with her cat, Nightshade, whom she adopted while living in Japan. She and Nightshade are overly codependent and often take naps in the sun together. Jessica is looking forward to taking the time to enhance her portfolio and publish some of her stories.
